Atsushi Kubo
Painter from Sugito-town, Saitama Prefecture. Currently 26 years old.
Graduated from Nihon Art vocational school.
He has been painting since he was very young and has experience in watercolor, acrylic, pastel, and oil.
​
After entering the vocational school, he became devoted to realistic figurative painting based on the classical painting method.
However, although his paintings look realistic at first glance, they are somehow more suggestive than photographs or reality.
His works, which could be called "impressionistic realism," are the result of his unique sensibility.
​
He paints everyday as if he were breathing, and yet he seems to truly enjoy it, so please look forward to his future works.
